You might want to think about this: At the core of this decision is that it is OK to take land from one party & give it to another, just to increase property tax revenue. Churches pay NO property taxes. They also own some pretty desirable land...

"The beneficiaries are likely to be those citizens with disproportionate influence and power in the political process, including large corporations and development firms." and "nearly any lawful use of real private property can be said to generate some incidental benefit to the public." If the Fifth Amendment requires only that a taking provide some such benefit, she wrote, "the words 'for public use' do not realistically exclude any takings."
